I would like to articulate abundant praises and gratifications as my high appreciation towards the establishment of one of the noblest green awareness initiatives. I truly regard such a proposal as a friendly urge to heighten public concern to instigate further action in preserving the cleanliness of the Earth as a whole.
Green awareness today is neither overvalued nor a topic that has been taken for granted. Although worldwide campaigns over the past decade has seemed to assemble rising attention on protecting the nature, the effect however has yet to attest measurable diminution in contamination and healthier environment.
This initiative is indeed creditable. Hence, I applaud the whole effort as being so responsible in promoting better living in the common society. There is no question of who launches the initiative or how big is the scale. When everybody works on this efficiently together, the expectation and response would certainly grow.
These days, most of us are not spending enough time in physically healthy lifestyle. Designed purely by Green initiative, this non-conventional Race for Green 2011 event requires contestants to demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness and time management. Besides basic chase to the finish line, participants ought to solve clues before resuming from several checkpoints in the race. The race in a team concept furthermore cultivates collective understanding in significance of Green environment at large.
For the entire orientation of this green key initiative plan that inaugurates The Race for Green 2011, I would like to thank in particular, Yayasan Universiti Multimedia (YUM), collaboration partners from the local universities, Melaka State Government, Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), and also our mother company, TM Berhad for the very strong support, which hopefully will be furthered to the realization of the whole Green initiatives.
I sincerely hope to see participations and involvements from all parties in the Race for Green 2011.
Thank you.
